Uma Paro is a 29-room hotel offering five-star comfort and singular style located in the wildly beautiful Himalayan Kingdom of Bhutan. Bhutan lies between India and Tibet and boasts a dramatically varied topography with pine-clad valleys, terraced hills and towering, snow-tipped ranges with impenetrable heights.

Its interior was inspired by the quiet comfort and inspiring; a culturally-rich Buddhist location in Bhutan is blessed with pine-clad valleys, terraced hills and snow tipped ranges.

Uma Paro is ecologically aware, respecting the land in which its retreats are located. In design, each hotel reflects local aesthetics, combining indigenous detailing with a serene modernity, keeping the number of rooms deliberately limited. Using carefully selected renewable timber, Niche Interior used traditional construction techniques in the construction of Uma Paro. Maintaining the same rustic look and feel of traditional Bhutan architecture while infusing modern touches resulted in an a unique five-star experience.
